On Saturday, August 19 nine people will be inducted into the Cambria County Military Hall of Fame. Two of the honorees are still alive.
State and county representatives will attend the 7th Induction Ceremony to recognize the accomplishments of the veterans.
After the nine men are inducted, there will be a total of 56 people in the hall of fame.
“It’s so important as time goes by, we somewhat forget some of the things that they may have done to bring honor to Cambria County,” said Marty Kuhar, Chairman of the Veterans Committee for the Cambria County War Memorial.
The induction ceremony will take place in the lobby of the Cambria County War Memorial Arena at 1 p.m. It’s open to the public.
