Newly remodeled All American reopens in Huntingdon

A restaurant in Huntingdon finished its remodel in only a week, and the owners wanted to have a big celebration. Folks in the community were so excited to see their local favorite, All American Pizza, finally getting a much needed makeover.

“We have been so blessed by this community ever since we’ve done this everybody’s been very supportive. So we’ve been so busy these past couple weeks, and we’re so thankful for that,” Christma McGeary, owner of All American Pizza, said.

With new floors, updated counter space, and more seating for customers, Christa said folks have been stopping by to see the remodel.

“A lot of people come in, want to check out the place, a lot of people that haven’t been here  or haven’t been here in a while have been back, saying everything is great, so we really really appreciate that. Um I’ve seen a lot of new faces, old faces, so it’s been a lot of fun.”

Dan Nead was a part of the financial side of the remodel. He said All American is loved by the community and so deserving of this change.

“It’s important to the community. It’s a place for people to meet and socialize and get good food at good price,” Nead said.

Bob Reitman, Executive Director of Huntingdon County Business and Industry, said All American is a great example of how a small business can do big things for the community.

They’re really one of those businesses that, you know, it’s part of the everyday walk through for people,” Reitman said.

Christa wanted to thank the team from Williams General Construction for working long hours trying to get it all done in a matter of just seven days.

She said there are still a few things left to be done, but she’s excited that community loves the finish product.
