A woman in Blair County said one of the local volunteer firemen from Newburg Volunteer Fire had continuously harassed her, and now he’s been charged for it.
Police said that Thomas Wagner, a volunteer firefighter, honked a fire trunk’s air horn for an excessive amount of time at 70-year-old Bonnie Knouse. She believed the air horn was directed at her as harassment.
Other neighbors in the area said they’ve also been attacked by firefighters on social media. When asked to explain, they wouldn’t comment any further because they’re afraid of facing retaliation.
When asked for a comment, the Newburg Fire Chief said he had no comment on the matter because it is pending litigation. There is no date set for the hearing.
