An area hospital is getting new leadership.
On January 14, Jan Fisher will take over as the president of UPMC Altoona and UPMC Bedford Memorial.
She’s now the chief operating officer at the hospitals.
The current president of UPMC Altoona and UPMC Bedford, Jerry Murray, will take a new position with the organization. Murray will become the Vice President for Special Projects of UPMC’s Central Region.
