A new program that will help victim’s of sexual assault is now available at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
The program is called SAFE-T and stands for Sexual Assault Forensic Examination Tele-health.
It allows expert nurses to be virtually present in the exam room via video chat when a victim is being examined.
The nurses will help guide the process and evidence collection.
Penn Highlands DuBois introduced the same program earlier this year.
