CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) — New lane restrictions will take effect I-80 near DuBois beginning the week of May 27.
Starting May 28, alternating westbound lane closures will be extended from MM102 to MM98 near the Falls Creek exit, and the eastbound lane closures will be extended from MM98 to MM101 near the DuBois exit.
According to PennDOT, this will “allow the contractor to work on five structures at the same time.”
PennDOT would like to remind drivers to “use caution in all work zones, obey posted speed limits, and always buckle up.” The speed limit in this work zone is 55 miles-per-hour.
Work began in mid-April to repair and preserve eight structures and is expected to last until November, according to PennDOT.
