New cellphone hotspots could improve coverage in downtown Johnstown.
The 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial is negotiating with Verizon to install antennas or hotspots in the arena, according the the arena’s manager Steve St. John.
The deal would bring in $6,000 a year to the arena and boost cell phone coverage to the downtown area.
