A new local business announced its grand opening is this weekend.
Stryking Boutique, a new clothing shop in Geistown announced that their grand opening is this weekend.
The Grand Opening for Stryking Boutique will be held Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Store hours will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days.
Located at 701 Scalp Avenue and is a unique retail shop for women in the Johnstown area.
“There are very few places to shop in this town, especially as we see bigger department stores closing,” said Lacey Ott, owner of the shop. “Stryking Boutique is filling an unmet need of the area. While online shopping continues to grow, there is something to be said about walking into a store, picking out clothes, trying them on, and walking out with ready to wear outfits.”
Stryking Boutique will have a mix of fashion brands for all shapes and sizes. The mission of her project is to give another shopping destination with the latest styles and trends in mind.
Stryking Boutique will soon launch online shopping via their website strykingboutique.com and Facebook. “We are going to continue to grow our presence in the click and order world, but want have a strong foundation with our brick and mortar location here in Johnstown. The goal is to eventually expand our retail location to continue to provide a great shopping experience locally and at the same time become one of the largest online boutiques in the U.S. creating more jobs in Johnstown such as website management, warehousing, photography, and more,” said Ott.
