The Centre County SED-ACOG Natural Gas Cooperative, inc. was approved for a $1 million grant for the construction of a point of departure station in Centre Hall.

The project would create 150 full-time jobs and cost over $2 million. It would service about six employers and 89 residential units.

This grant was awarded by the state’s Commonwealth Financing Authority through its Pipeline Investment Program. The project will create a public-private partnership that connects local service to deliver natural gas to the Centre Hall area and Hanover Foods Corporation.
