The scheduled sentencing for a murder suspect in Centre County was unexpectedly canceled.
Charles McGhee is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges in connection to the death of his wife, Courtney.
In June McGhee allegedly beat his wife to death in their Bellefonte home and lit a fire to cover it up.
On Wednesday the District Attorney’s office announced he would enter a guilty plea and be sentenced.
But on Thursday morning the DA’s office released a statement that the sentencing was canceled.
WTAJ has reached out to the DA’s office several times for an explanation why but they have not responded.
