Jalen Gibson was wanted for the deadly shooting of Tevin Sitton in Dale Borough on April 3, 2017.

Wednesday, Gibson’s attorney contacted police to arrange the handoff. Gibson was taken to the Cambria County Jail Thursday afternoon, where he’ll be held until his preliminary hearing.

Gibson’s defense attorney would not comment if Gibson will plead guilty to the homicide charge.

“We certainly are not running from the charges. My client’s not running from these charges. He wants to face his accusers,” said Ryan Tutera, Gibson’s defense attorney.

Two other men are awaiting preliminary hearings in connection to the fatal shooting.
