Mount Aloysius College has been selected as the recipient of a Best Value School award.
The Cresson-based college was selected out of nearly 8,000 postsecondary schools.
The award is given by the University Research and Review (URR), a company that improves how students select postsecondary schools. The selection process is conducted by professors, provosts, university CEOs, and college presidents.
“It endorses who we are, what we do and most importantly, what our students think of us,” said Mount Aloysius College president, Dr. John Mills. “It is a genuine affirmation of solid value and reflects so very well on the entire campus community.”
Colleges cannot pay to receive this award, and Mount Aloysius was chosen by the committee because it passed their standards on cost, accreditation, variety and quality of school programs, and student satisfaction.
“It is our distinguished pleasure to present the award to Mount Aloysius College,” said URR Founder, Joseph Schmoke. “We hope current students and alumni take pride in this honor, and anyone searching for a quality, reasonably priced college education strongly considers Mount Aloysius.”
