ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Second Annual Pennsylvania Roundhouse Rally is coming back to Altoona.
Folks from around the area come to into town to show off their bikes and enjoy all of the activities the festival has to offer.
“I’m not tell you guys what to do with your weekend, but if I were to tell you one thing, be at the PA roundhouse rally,” Curtis Warrender from Roundhouse Harley-Davidson said.
Folks can to look at all the bikes on display and even take a demo-ride, but one organizer said there’s something for everyone to do.
“I’m just going to assume that you like live music, that you would like stunt shows, that you would like those kinds of things, so even though we consider it a bike rally, there is really something for everyone,” Debbra Heath from Roundhouse Harley-Davidson said.
Stunt performer Bubba Blackwell will be back again, and plans on jumping across more cars.
“We’re closing down 10th Avenue, Blue Knob Auto is bringing us some cars in, so I think there’s like 10 or 12 cars he’s gonna jump,” Heath said.
Although the event is focused on the bikes, folks said bringing the motorcycling community together is the best part.
“It is a family, a culture. When you ride, it is kind of a club type thing, so we’re all family when we’re on two wheels,” Heath said.
The event starts Thursday at 3 p.m. in Downtown Altoona, and 5 p.m. at the Railroaders Museum and Roundhouse Harley-Davidson.
