BEDFORD COUNTY (WTAJ) — An attempted traffic stop on Monday turned into a chase that sent one man to the hospital.
Police in Bedford attempted to stop thirty year old Chad Gohn of Alum Bank, PA on his Suzuki GXSR.
When Gohn refused to pull over his motorcycle a chase began, reaching speeds up to one-hundred miles an hour.
Police followed Gohn from William Penn road, through Camp Wayside, and ended on Sawmill road.
Gohn lost control of the motorcycle and crashed.
He was taken into custody and then transported to UPMC Altoona.
He was released from the hospital and taken to the Bedford County Jail on a probation detainer.
Gohn is charged with fleeing, DUI, recklessly endangering another person and multiple traffic violations.
