Two people are facing charges after police say they broke into a business and stole more than $6,000 worth of merchandise.
Police say John Neimiller, 23, and Nicole Platter, 22, used force, even breaking in the glass door to the Roadside Mini-Mart along Mason Dixon Highway, Summit Township, Somerset County back on April 1, 2017.
While inside Neimiller is accused of stealing several brands of cigarettes totaling $5,800 and about $500 worth of smokeless tobacco.
Neimiller is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and loitering. He was released on an unsecured $25,000 bond.
Platter is charged with receiving stolen property, loitering, conspiracy to commit burglary, and theft. She was released on an unsecured $25,000 bond.
