Our region is in line for two more medical marijuana dispensaries. This week the Wolf Administration approved applications for 23 more dispensaries across the state.

Both of those approved in our area would be located on main street in Johnstown. They’ll be operated by two different companies.

The dispensaries have six months to become operational.

The state says the new approvals would bring the total number of dispensaries across the state to 79.
So far, more than 98,000 residents have been registered to take part in the medical marijuana program.
