More drop-off locations available for Cuddles for Kids

More drop-off locations are available for Cuddles for Kids.

State Representative Frank Burns has announced that his offices in Lower Yoder Township, Ebensburg, Portage, and Patton will again serve as toy drop-off locations.

The Cuddles for Kids, founded by 10-year-old Conner Hagins in 2006, has donated tens of thousands of new stuffed animals, children’s books, and toys to hospitals and children advocacy groups.

Hagins began Cuddles for Kids so that hospitalized kids would have something to cuddle with when they’re parents weren’t there to help ease their fears.

“We’re pleased to be a part of this toy drive again,” said Burns. “We like to do our part and make the holidays nice for everyone.”

Through December 19, you can drop off items at these office locations:

• 535 Fairfield Avenue in Johnstown (Lower Yoder Township)

• 119 S. Center Street in Ebensburg

• 112-A Munster Road in Portage

• 405 Park Avenue in Patton
