A camping trip took a tragic turn for a Clearfield County teen.
State police said the 17-year-old’s family reported him missing not long after the teen went camping on family property with a friend.
After a search, the teen’s body was found in a creek near the Boro of Irvona in Beccaria Township.
The teen was taken to the hospital, but later pronounced dead.
Investigators are ruling the death accidental.
