A welfare check led to the discovery of a meth lab in Bedford county.
State police say they received a request to check on a twelve-year-old girl living in the Riddlesburg home.
When police went to the home Lisa Pounds and Starla Knechtel allowed them to search it.
Both women were arrested after police found items consistent with making meth inside.
They are both facing drug and child endangerment charges.
