HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Thursday night is the annual Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Service in Hollidaysburg.
The service honors officers who gave their lives protecting the people of the Commonwealth, as well as fallen officers from Blair County.
Blair County Sheriff James Ott said it’s important to give these officers and their families the respect they deserve.
“Our service is always driven from the heart, so when we coordinate it, that when a group comes together and we try to put this together, we want to make sure that everything that we put together that we drive from the heart and make sure that it’s being given back to our fallen brothers and sisters,” he said.
The service starts at 6 p.m. in front of the Blair County Courthouse. All are invited to attend.
