A memorial motorcycle ride will honor a fallen a state trooper.
The Annual Trooper Joseph Sepp Memorial Ride will take place on Saturday, August 25. Sepp was killed in 2002 in the line of duty.
The ride is hosted by the Road Dawgs Motorcycle Club. This year, money raised will benefit the family of State Police Corporal John Aloi from Indiana County, who unexpectedly passed away in January 2018 after retiring from law enforcement.
Anyone is invited to attend the ride. It costs $20 per rider and $25 per passenger.
Following the ride, meals will be provided at the Nanty Glo Fire Company.
“It’s very important to have that connection. To have the community supporting law enforcement, especially in this day and age,” said Richland Township Police Detective Kevin Gaudlip.
Registration for the motorcycle ride starts at 11 a.m. The ride leaves at 1 p.m. from Zepka Harley Davidson on Eisenhower Boulevard in Richland Township, Cambria County.
