March of Dimes raised tens of thousands of dollars Monday night!
It was the the 17th Annual March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction.
Sixteen chefs competed for the best tasting chef in Central PA, and folks donated money on silent and live auctions.
This was the highest turnout for the event.
Money raised tonight goes to the March of Dimes, which fights for the one in ten babies who are born premature.
“You always think, what if it’s you. What if it’s your sister, your cousin, your family member? What if you are that one in ten? Some day you might be. So the fact that the community is ready and willing to come together and to give to a good charitable cause is very heartwarming and tonight was an absolute success,” said March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction co-chair Michelle Passarello.
Chef John Clickner II from GiGi’s Southern Table beat out the other chefs for best tasting dish.
In all, the March of Dimes raised $80,000 Monday night.
