A Huntingdon County man was killed in a weekend crash.
State Police say John Benson, 55, died after head-on crash on Route 22 in Mill Creek.
It happened Sunday around 3:40 p.m. when the vehicle Benson was riding in crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck.
Benson was a passenger in the backseat of the car. He was flown to UPMC Hospital and died because of his injuries. The driver of the car, Nancy Benson, suffered serious injuries and was also flown to the hospital.
Another passenger in Benson’s was not injured. Two people in the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
