WHITE TOWNSHIP, INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — State Police need your help to identify the man, pictured above, who they believe is a suspect in a recent retail theft investigation in Indiana County.
Police believe the man tried to steal approximately $3,649 in various electronics from the Walmart on Oakland Avenue in White Township around 4:20 a.m. on May 31. His attempted theft was interrupted by a Walmart employee as he was retrieving his car to leave the store.
After the suspect left the Indiana Walmart, he went to the Blairsville Walmart around 5:24 a.m. and also tried to steal items from that store, but was stopped by another Walmart employee.
The man, believed to be in his mid-30s, is described as having dirty blond hair and was seen wearing a long-sleeved blue plaid button-up shirt
According to police, the suspected vehicle is an older, white Kia Sportage SUV with a broken driver’s side taillight.
