A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Blair County.
We’re told it happened on I-99 near mile marker 33.
Police said Barry Smith, 71, went onto a closed lane of travel, which was recently paved, and lost control of his motorcycle. Officials told us Smith and his vehicle continued to travel off the road and crashed into the grass.
The coroner pronounced Smith dead at the scene.
