A man is behind bars for allegedly beating two people with a baseball bat.
Police in Somerset County say Anthony Miner, 26, attacked two people at an apartment on East Patriot Street around 1:15 a.m. Monday.
Police said Miner got into an argument with a 19-year-old man, then starting beating him with a bat.
A 20-year-old woman then stepped in to defend the victim before she was also attacked.
Both victims were treated at a hospital for serious cuts on their heads. The male victim has a fractured big toe and the female had an injured wrist.
Miner was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault and a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person.
