A man is facing charges after an armed robbery in Clearfield.
Police were dispatched Monday night to the Sheetz at 14259 Clearfield Shawville Highway after reports of an armed robbery in progress.
When they arrived at the scene, they learned that a man waved a handgun at an employee at the register. He left the store with nothing after another employee entered the area where the registers were unexpectedly.
Police learned that the man was involved in a large string of crimes the same night across multiple jurisdictions, and he was found a short time later by PSP Rockview.
He is now in custody with pending charges.
