A Millmont man is facing attempted criminal homicide charges after a terrifying encounter in Centre County.
State police said Lance Shaffer rammed a vehicle off the road on SR 477 in Miles Township early Friday morning.
Investigators said Shaffer then fired a gun at the people in the vehicle. We’re told he then approached them and pointed a gun at a person’s head while he threatened them.
Police said two people were able to get out of the car and run to the woods. As they did, we’re told Shaffer continued to fire the gun at them.
Police recovered the gun and found it to be registered to Shaffer.
Shaffer is now facing a list of charges including attempted criminal homicide.
