A Windber man is dead after crashing his bicycle.
Investigators say Matthew Thacker, 22, wasn’t wearing a helmet when he crashed into a wall while riding his bike through Scalp Level Borough Friday morning.
The crash happened in the 400 block of Main Street.
Thacker was pronounced dead at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said Thacker died from blunt force trauma to the head and ruled his death an accident.
