MOUNT UNION, HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Huntingdon County man, convicted of killing a Beagle Puppy, could face up to seven years in prison.

James Tippett of Mount Union was found guilty of three counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, for kicking that puppy, throwing a cage at it, and throwing it against a wall last May.

Police began investigating after one of Tippett’s neighbors recorded part of that abuse.

He will be sentenced in July.
