BROOKVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ)– A Jefferson County man is in jail after police say he was involved in a standoff that began Sunday evening.
49-year-old John Kunselman of Brookville is charged with terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and criminal trespass.
According to the criminal complaint, police first investigated Kunselman for suicidal threats around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say Kunselman fled before they arrived.
Before nine that night, police say they were called to a house on Evans Street in Brookville.
According to police, the homeowner said Kunselman came to her house and demanded to be let in.
Police say the homeowner let Kunselman in, called 911 and left the house.
When police arrived, they say Kunselman was inside the house and threatening officers.
The standoff was resolved after 7 a.m. Monday.
Multiple roads, including parts of Route 322 and Route 28 were closed during the standoff.
