RIDGWAY, ELK COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A man has been arrested in the deadly bar shooting Sunday afternoon.
According to the police, Brian Allen Martin shot a 42-year-old man at Cully’s Bar in Ridgway on Saturday at 2:15 a.m.
During an interview, police say Martin stated he has a concealed carry permit, and fired the gunshots in self defense after the victim attacked him.
Martin is being charged with criminal homicide, discharge of a firearm into an unoccupied structure and reckless endangerment.
The victim was taken to Penn Highlands Elk, where he was pronounced dead at 5 a.m. from four gunshot wounds to abdomen and chest.
Martin is currently being held in the Elk County Prison and was denied bail.
His preliminary hearing is May 15.
