A man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly trying to strangle a woman.
Johnstown police said Garrath Harvey attacked the victim at a home on David Street just after 7 p.m. Saturday.
Harvey was found a short time later at the Family Dollar on Bedford Street.
He is facing several charges including strangulation, assault, vandalism and public drunkenness.
