State Police in Rockview were dispatched to Minit Mart in Philipsburg for an altercation between two men.

During the investigation, police found that Michael Williams, 26, had stolen $402 from the 38-year-old victim when he was asleep.

Police said Williams was taken into custody and the money was recovered and returned to the scene.

Williams was charged with theft and taken to the Centre County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
