A man is recovering after being accidentally shot while hunting in Cambria County.

Officials said it happened Saturday morning around 8:30 a.m. in Jackson Township.

We’re told he was shot by a fellow hunter while the two were in the woods near Mitchell Field and Shepard Street.

The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
