HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Huntingdon House’s annual Walk to End Violence is making strides against domestic abuse.

The 7th Annual Walk to End Violence will be Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Detwiler Field. The focus of the 2019 walk will focus on healing and wellness.

Community members will join the Huntingdon House staff and volunteers in raising awareness by showing support for survivors of domestic abuse, highlighting the success of the organization in supporting them, and raising funds for the organization’s life-saving programs.

The first lap of the walk begins at 10 a.m., following registration at 9 a.m. There will be vendors set up throughout the day, as well as art activities, Zumba, and yoga for adults and children.

Registration for vendors, sponsors, and walkers can be made online or the day of the event.
