Some local trails and recreation areas are getting help from the Greenways Mini-Grants Program.
The Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission and the County Commissioners presented the C&I Extension for the Ghost Town Trail in Cambria County with a $50,000 grant Tuesday.
The Johnstown Inclined Plane Riverside Park was also awarded a $30,000 grant.
The Great Allegheny Passage, in Somerset County, will be presented more than $14,000 on Wednesday for improvements on the Garrett Trailhead.
