Williamsburg kicked off their 51 annual farm show today.

Throughout the week, kids will be showing their livestock. There will also be rides and food vendors.

Today the Blair County Dairy Princess was there showing off a newborn calf with whom attendees could get their photo taken.

Farm show director Bill Stotler says that this event is all about the community: “It represents the community. It’s a farming community and it represents the community and uh it brings the community together. It’s more like a big, giant family reunion than it is anything and it’s a lot of fun.”

The fair will continue throughout the week with the livestock auction and a parade on Thursday.
