The Laurel Highlands Historical Village is seeking donations and household items for local veterans and the elderly in their community.
They have found that many individuals and families are in need of blankets, heat, and food.
They are looking for the following items: an air fryer, pressure cooker, meat tenderizer, table top mixer, heated blankets, electric razors, used small kitchen appliances, kitchen tools, kitchen and bath towels, hygiene items, all types of food, baking items, drinking mixes, coffee, soda and snacks.
If you wish to donate any new or used items, you can drop them off at Rocky’s Tavern in Woodvale, Stagers in Portage, and Rizzo’s Chiropractor & Wellness Center in Ebensburg.
Cash donations are also being accepted and can be sent to Laurel Highlands Historical Village at 172 Allbaugh Park Road, Johnstown PA 15909.
