Hundreds of needy kids in Blair County are having a memorable Christmas this year, thanks to volunteers and donations.

Saturday was the annual Sheetz Christmas Party at Hollidaysburg High School.

Sheetz teamed up with the Salvation Army to get personalized gifts for about 200 local families in Blair County.

At the party, there was face painting, a clown, balloon animals, snacks and kids even got to meet Santa.

“I hope they get a nice visit with Santa. I hope they can feel good and be happy and we can make their holiday season,” said Pam Pacifico, a district manager for Sheetz, Inc.

Pacifico said this wouldn’t have been possible without the generous donations from customers.
