A local gun range that was damaged by a fire almost a year ago is back open for business.
Outdoor City Guns and Indoor Ranges in Altoona held a grand re-opening of their shooting range on Saturday, September 9.
They removed the foam from the walls, which was the cause of the fire. They also extended the range for dynamic shooting.
We caught up with the former manager who says he’s happy to be back in business.
“We spent a couple of months here getting the range pulled back together after the insurance let us go in and start doing our work on it,” said Anthony Biddle. “So we’re really excited to get it back open, and we’ve made some really nice improvements to the range. It’s back and better than ever before.”
The range is now open 6 days a week.
