The Nanty Glo Beautification committee is trying to get a grant that would pave the way for a park to be built next to the public library.

 

However, before they can move forward toward getting the grant worth more than $27,000, they need the go ahead from the borough council. 

 

If the council backs the plan, the group hopes to use the funds to build a new gazebo, add benches and even plaques honoring the memories of lost loved ones in the community.
