The Clearfield community is invited to participate in the 2018 Giving Tree.
The Clearfield Borough Police Department and the Clearfield County Area Agency of Aging are partnering to create Giving Trees to collect gifts and financial support for heating and medical costs for the elderly in the community.
Giving Trees will be located at the Clearfield Pharmacy, the CVS of Clearfield, and the employees at the local PennDOT and CBT Bank will also have their own tree to collect gifts internally.
From November 20 through December 7, a giving tree will be located at both pharmacies with tags of needed items.
The community is encouraged to take a card, purchase and wrap the needed items, and drop off the items and the card to the Clearfield Borough Police Station or the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging. Both are located on North Front Street in Clearfield.
People can also donate monetarily by making a check out to “Giving Tree Fund” and dropping it off at the CBT office on North Second Street or any of their branches.
