Fall is still a few weeks away, but the cool weather may have you thinking about fall activities.

This season the Hoover’s Farm corn maze and pumpkin patch is donating a part of their proceeds to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Hoovers is located in Patton and opens next Friday September 15 daily from 10:00 a.m. until dusk.

The cost is $5 for admission to the corn maze and prices vary for pumpkins. In addition to pumpkins, mums, corn stalks and hay bales also will be on sale. Flashlight tours through the corn maze are offered Friday and Saturday evenings with the last admission at 8 p.m.

From Altoona, drivers can take Route 36 to Chest Springs, and stay left onto State Route 4015 between Chest Springs and Carrolltown.

From Carrolltown, drivers should turn onto East Carroll Street and follow for two miles.

From Patton, drivers can follow Mellon Avenue and continue to state Route 4015 between Chest Springs and Carrolltown.
