The Richland School District will host Rachel’s Challenge, a nationally recognized program, promoting a positive and safe school environment.
The program will be October 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Richland High School Performing Arts Center in Johnstown.
The presentation is free, and shares the inspiring story of Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim of the Columbine High School shooting, and her legacy on today’s youth. The program is one hour long, and is recommended for students in 7-12 grades, parents/guardians, and the community.
Rachel’s Challenge is the most recent addition to the district’s “Not Here. Not in R School” anti-bullying campaign, and is designed to prevent bullying and encourage kindness and healthy decision making.
All are welcome to attend.
