Johnstown police are still searching for the suspect they say shot a woman, critically injuring her Tuesday night.
Police say that suspect, 27-year-old Richard Agurs Jr., had been arguing with a woman, Lakyma Littleberry, during the day at her home on the 600 block of Ash Street. Then, around 10 p.m., that’s when investigators say Agurs Jr. opened fire outside the house and shot Littleberry multiple times.
She was rushed to Conemaugh hospital in critical condition.
Police have an active warrant out for Agurs Jr.’s arrest. He’s facing simple assault and aggravated assault charges. Investigators may also charge him with attempted homicide.
