Johnstown-based Center for Metal Arts (CMA) and the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA) are offering tours.

On December 1, five hour-long tours will be offered to show the public CMA’s current operations in the Pattern Shop, and its plans to occupy the historic Blacksmith Shop.

The tours are being offered at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. and will include a metalworking demonstration by CMA’s principals and a tour of the Blacksmith Shop’s interior.

The tour costs $5 for eye and ear protection. Tickets are sold in advance and at the door. Tours are limited to 40 people, so buying your tickets in advanced is encouraged.

Advance tickets can be purchased securely online at https://give.classy.org/CenterforMetalArtsTour, JAHA’s website at www.jaha.org, or in person at the Heritage Discovery Center or Johnstown Flood Museum.
