Jenkies Joint in Orbisonia, Huntingdon County is a cafe/laundromat that is now open!
The cafe offers breakfast and lunch from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday. They also have a laundromat that is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. So, you can get some laundry done while enjoying some food and drinks from the cafe. Or, you can pick up your order from the pickup window! The coffee is provided by Standing Stone Coffee Company in Huntingdon.
The building is decorated by a mural painted by Rebecca Reck of Bluebird Designs. It incorporates members and highlights from the community and Jenkins family. Reck is hosting a painting class at the cafe from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16th for $25 a painter.
Jenkies Joint will be holding a grand opening and ribbon cutting on Friday, January 11th from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the Huntingdon County Commissioners.
