Jeffrey Sandusky sentenced to prison

Jeffrey Sandusky is looking at three-and-a-half to seven years behind bars, along with one year of probation for sexually abusing teenage girls.

Jeffrey is the adopted son of former Penn State Football coach and convicted child abuser Jerry Sandusky.

In September he pleaded guilty to 14 charges, 12 of which are felonies, including statutory sexual assault, sexual abuse of children and solicitation to record sexual acts.

According to court documents he was texting a minor and asking her to send him nude photos, and he asked another victim to perform oral sex.

On Friday Sandusky’s defense attorney was hopeful for a mitigated sentence and requested the judge order 3-6 years of prison time.

He stated that the gravity of Sandusky’s term should be lessened because he never physically touched the either victim.

But the Commonwealth argued Sandusky meets the definition of “predatory behavior” and his sentence isn’t worthy of any mitigation

Sandusky is also considered ‘Tier 3’ Sex Offender Registry, which means he will stay on the list for life.
