According to PennDOT, the I-99 improvement project in Centre County will begin on Monday, March 25.

The work zone will be a 13-mile stretch in Taylor, Worth, Huston, and Patton townships from mile marker 56 at the Blair/Centre County line to mile marker 69 near State College.

The improvements will include a high-speed interchange of I-99 and Route 322, the Grays Woods interchange, and the Atherton Street interchange. Other work will include concrete patching, cleaning, and sealing.

Most work will be done using short-term lane closures that will begin after 9:00 a.m. and end before 3:00 p.m.

All work is scheduled to be complete by the end of June.
